Pas de Couture: The Movement of Fashion- Sunday May 24th at Stan Mansion

CHICAGO, IL – May 22, 2009 – L’ Shanell Events Productions will host its 2nd Annual Fashion/Dance Production: Pas de Couture: The Movement of Fashion [www.pasdecouture.com] this Sunday, May 24, 2009 at the luxurious special-event venue, Stan Mansion located at 2408 North Kedzie, Chicago, Illinois. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit Camp Butterfly [www.campbutterfly.org].

Featuring over 20 fashion designers, Pas de Couture begins with a VIP cocktail reception at 7:00pm, live musical performances at 8:00pm, and concludes with a high-energy dance runway fashion show at 9:30pm sharp. The event will also include a fashion vendor expo with exclusive boutiques, and will feature a special performance by YouTube sensation Arianna (seen on Tyra Banks Show and Beyonce’s website).

Executive Producer and Director Latoya Shanell recognizes the need for fashion industry related events, especially as Chicago forges its way into the fashion foray, evident with a number of Mayor Daley’s fashion initiatives. “The mission of our fashion/dance extravaganza is to showcase Chicago’s most talented fashion professionals and inspire youth to achieve their aspirations, and we believe that compliments the city’s incredible array of talent.”
