Pizzeria Venti Celebrates Grand Opening of Newest Franchise Brings “Aperitivo” to Alexandria, VA

BOCA RATON, FL – October 8, 2008 – VentiCorp, the national franchisor of Pizzeria Venti Restaurants [www.pizzariaventi.com], announced today its newest franchise, located at 301 John Carlyle Street in Alexandria, VA., that will kick off its grand opening Wednesday, October 8th at 6:00pm, with a ribbon cutting and the introduction of its “Aperitovo” happy hour to the DC Metro area.

Joseph Gallina, Vice President of Franchising, who made the announcement stated. “We are very pleased with the response from the community, we are honored, and excited to be part of the Carlyle Gateway growth.” The restaurant, which set a soft opening week record for total customers is open for Lunch and dinner and features handmade pizza, pasta al forno, Premium Salad creations as well as fine Italian Gelato.

The wine and champagne bar will feature a selection of Italian wines which include, Brunello and other fine Imported and Domestic wines, along with an impressive array of bottled beer. “Aperitivo is very popular in Italy and is somewhat similar to our Happy Hour except that a variety of Antipasti and “Primi Piatti” or small plates, are offered at no charge,” Gallina added. The restaurant will also begin regular delivery service to area businesses.

The CLP Group of Alexandria, VA, was awarded the Pizzeria Venti franchise in September of 2005,  and traveled to Italy to complete the required training for the Franchise. The CLP group is represented by Paul Remson of Strategic Realty Advisors, Inc., along with VentiCorp.

 “The enthusiasm and dedication of CLP coupled with many years of business experience, made them a natural choice for our network,” Gallina commented. The members of CLP have also contracted to develop additional Pizzeria Venti restaurants in and around the DC Metro area.

Pizzeria Venti is “America’s Only Authentic Sliceria”® and uses only pure, clean water, imported from Italy to make their crust. The restaurant features up to 20 different pizzas by the slice or full pan, Premium salads, baked pastas, Timpanini® and their one of a kind “Bocce Ball.” An Italian meatball surrounded by a golden crust.
